These terms govern lu-social.com and the Lu Social subscription service. By using the site or enrolling a clinic you agree to them. Lu Social is operated from California by Michael Woodworth, L.Ac. (“Lu Social,” “we,” “us”); “you” means the clinic that subscribes.
The service
Lu Social is a monthly subscription service producing social-media and blog content for complementary and alternative healthcare clinics. Content is built on your clinic’s chosen specialties, stamped and voiced for your practice, and delivered to your own scheduling dashboard for review.
Publishing runs through Metricool on an account your clinic owns and authorises — we never log in to your social accounts directly. We have no access to patient data of any kind.
Plans and pricing
Three plans, all open to everyone. These are feature plans, not a price ladder — nobody’s rate changes over time.
- Standard — $100/month. At least 3 posts + 1 reel every week (usually more), built on your clinic’s two specialties, in your tone and with your watermark, with custom reel intros and hashtags.
- Premium — $150/month. Everything in Standard, plus blog posts in clean HTML and newsletters ready to send — and, each week, an additional 2 posts + 1 reel geared to your chosen specialties, created based on your clinic’s personal voice from the first draft.
- Founders — $200/month. Everything in Premium, plus deeper clinic customisation, a say in production materials, and first access to new capabilities.
No contracts. No commitments. Cancel anytime. There is no setup fee.
How enrolment and billing work
Email us your name and phone number, or use the form on /contact/. After a quick phone call about your clinic and which plan fits, we send your payment link; subscribing there starts the monthly subscription. There is no self-serve checkout on this site. Payments are processed by our payment processor; we never see or store your card number.
Subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel. Cancel and your subscription runs to the end of the month you have paid for; we do not pro-rate part-months, and we do not charge a cancellation fee.
New capabilities
New capabilities roll out to Founders clinics first at no additional charge while we validate them. If one proves easy to maintain, it stays free for Founders and may be included for everyone. If one needs significant ongoing overhead, it becomes an optional add-on — never an automatic charge.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your clinic, your licence status, your specialties and your voice, and tell us when it changes.
- Review content before it publishes, or authorise it to auto-post on schedule. Either way the decision to publish is yours.
- Make sure what you publish complies with the rules that apply to your practice — your state board, advertising and scope-of-practice rules, and applicable FTC and health-claim rules.
- Keep patient information out of anything you send us.
- Maintain your own social and scheduling accounts and the access we need to deliver.
Approval, ownership and contributed assets
You preview, edit and reschedule any piece before it publishes, or let it auto-post on the schedule you set. You own the posts published on your clinic’s accounts and may keep using them after your subscription ends. We keep ownership of our production system, prompts, templates, libraries and the underlying source material.
Clinics may contribute video clips and images to the shared library, understood to be royalty-free for content use across all clinic brands in the programme. Tell us at the time if you want an asset kept exclusive to your clinic.
We may describe our production work publicly, anonymised by specialty. We never name your clinic or practitioners, quote your copy, or reuse your imagery in that context without your written permission.
Feedback and changes
Share feedback at any point and we address it with the time and resources available. We do not promise a fixed turnaround on edits, and we do not offer unlimited rework; authorisation plus feedback is how the workflow runs.
No guarantee of results
Publishing consistently is what we deliver. Engagement, followers, enquiries, bookings and revenue depend on your market, your practice and the platforms themselves, and none of them are promised, guaranteed or warranted by us. Nothing on this site or in our materials is a promise of any particular result.
We structure content so AI assistants and search engines can read and cite it. We do not and cannot promise placement, mention, ranking or volume from any search engine or AI assistant.
Not clinical or legal advice
Content we produce is patient education written for a general audience. It is not clinical advice to any individual, and it is not legal or regulatory advice to you. You remain the licensed professional responsible for what your clinic publishes.
Termination
You may cancel any time, for any reason. We may suspend or end a subscription if fees go unpaid, if the account is used for something unlawful or outside the scope of the service, or if we can no longer serve your clinic properly — in which case we will tell you and refund any unused whole month already paid.
Limitation of liability
The service and the site are provided as they are. To the fullest extent the law allows, Lu Social is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost bookings or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the month before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and enrolled clinics are told by email about material changes. Continuing to use the site or the service after a change means the revised terms apply.
